Image size: 1 MB to 3 MB, depending on camera resolution (images are not written to disk unless that
   option is selected)
Single run data file size: 50 - 100 KB depending on number of active measures
Individual particle data files, for a sample with 5000 particles (optional feature):
   Particle data only: 400 KB typical
   Particle thumbnail images: 70 MB typical

Instrument hardware:


System volume: 30mL for standard set-up. Custom suspension volumes have different volumes.
Lens powers available: 1X, 2X, 5X, 10X. Open architecture to adapt to a variety of lenses.
Light source: Xenon strobe with available filter options
Flow cell thicknesses: 200um, 500 um, 1000 um, open architecture for custom flow cells

Software feature summary:


Six shape models; 28 size/shape measures, two particle image quality measures
Image analysis: adjustable threshold, min/max pixel size, optional corrections for diffraction effects and edge contact bias; adjustable focus, shape, and overlap rejection
Statistics: distribution graphs, mean, mode, std. deviation, percentiles by number and volume (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 90% standard, percentiles can be customized); and other commonly-used statistics
Comprehensive statistics window: in addition to the above: coefficient of variance, harmonic mean, skewness. Ability to generate statistical figures for any subrange of the data.
Postrun processing: recompute statistics under new measure limits, two-measure correlation, view particle thumbnails, generate list of individual particles
